Greenhouse gas emissions slightly lower in 2022

Berlin (energate) - In 2022, Germany's greenhouse gas emissions fell slightly by 1.9 per cent, according to the German Environment Agency (UBA - Umweltbundesamt). The report says that around 746 million tonnes of greenhouse gases were released - more than 15 million tonnes less than in 2021. Overall, emissions in Germany have fallen by 40.4 per cent since 1990.
