Trimet uses coke oven gas for decarbonisation

Essen/Gelsenkirchen (energate) - The Essen-based aluminium producer Trimet will use coke oven gas in its smelting furnaces in future. The new fuel, which consists of 60 per cent hydrogen, comes from the steel manufacturer Arcelor Mittal. The coke oven gas is produced during coke production at the Bottrop site.
