Jet builds ten hydrogen filling stations

Hamburg (energate) - The filling station operator Jet will also offer hydrogen in the future. The company announced the construction of ten hydrogen filling stations, which are scheduled to go into operation in Germany and Denmark by 2024. The stations will be built partly at existing Jet filling stations and partly at new locations. Refuelling will take place at 350 and 700 bar in order to be able to serve both passenger cars and commercial vehicles or buses. According to Jet, only green hydrogen based on renewable energies will be offered. Jet is relying on the manufacturer Maximator Hydrogen to build the filling stations. The company builds hydrogen filling stations in Thuringia. Both sides signed an agreement to this effect. Jet plans to build a total of 250 public hydrogen filling stations in Germany, Austria and Denmark. The filling station operator Jet is a subsidiary of the US petroleum company Phillips 66. /kw
