Thyssenkrupp enters climate-neutral steel production

Duisburg (energate) - Steel manufacturer Thyssenkrupp has commissioned plant specialist SMS Group to build the first hydrogen-powered direct reduction (DR) plant at its Duisburg site. The contract is worth 1.8 billion euros, making it the largest single order in the company's history.
