New monument protection law in Lower Saxony having an effect in court

Lüneburg (energate) - A wind farm in Lower Saxony has been successful in a dispute over the protection of historical monuments before the Higher Administrative Court. A complaint against the Rinteln wind farm in the Schaumburg district was rejected by the state's highest administrative court. A spokesperson for the court told energate that, following a change in the law last year, the wind turbines were no longer an obstacle to the protection of historical monuments.
