Federal Network Agency invites tenders for 7,000 MW offshore wind capacity

Bonn (energate) - The Federal Network Agency has put areas in the North Sea and Baltic Sea up for tender for wind farms with a total capacity of 7,000 MW. They are the prelude to the so-called expansion turbo with 30,000 MW of installed capacity by 2030. According to the Federal Network Agency, the bids are to be submitted by 1 June 2023, and the wind farms are scheduled to go into operation in 2030.
