German economics minister Habeck looks ahead to the post-energy crisis era

Berlin (energate) - According to economics minister Robert Habeck (Green Party), state intervention in the energy market has saved Germany from a severe recession. At the presentation of the annual economic report for 2023, he emphasised that he expects economic growth of 0.2 per cent for this year. According to the ministry's estimate, inflation will fall from just under 8 per cent to 6 per cent compared to 2022.
