Stricter EU rules for critical infrastructure in force

Brussels (energate) - Two tightened EU directives on critical infrastructure have come into force and must be implemented by EU member states within 21 months. They are intended to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructures against online and offline threats. The directives affected are the reissues of the 2017 Network and Information Security Directive (NIS-2) and the 2008 Critical Infrastructure Resilience Directive (ECI).
