Activists launch electricity price boycott campaign

Berlin (energate) - For a newly formed activist group in Berlin, the electricity price brake at 40 cents/kWh does not go far enough. The initiative 'Wir zahlen nicht' (We won't pay) advocates a fixed electricity price of 15 cents/kWh. In addition, the activists demand a ban on electricity cut-offs, the nationalisation of supply, and an energy transition to 100 per cent renewables in Germany.
