EnBW and Venture Global LNG sign contracts

Arlington/Stuttgart (energate) - EnBW and Venture Global LNG have concluded two long-term sales and purchase agreements for liquefied natural gas (LNG). This was announced by both companies. The contracts would involve the sale or purchase of 1.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) from Venture Global's Plaquemines and CP2 facilities from 2026. Under the agreements, EnBW would purchase 0.75 MTPA each over a 20-year term. "This is the first direct, binding off-take agreement for long-term US LNG signed by a German company and an important step that illustrates Germany's strategy to diversify its energy mix," Mike Sabel, CEO of Venture Global LNG, said. /df
