Decision: Obligation for citizen participation in wind farms is permissible

Karlsruhe (energate) - The years-long dispute over the participation law in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has now been brought to an end by the Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht). Karlsruhe approved the law, which has provided for such a duty since 2016. Basic rights of the operators would not be violated.
